Our tech’s journey began working on semis and trailers, then moving on to complete the fast-track program for certification at a Volkswagen dealership. Since then, our tech has worked for top brands like VW, Ford, Subaru, Honda, and Hyundai, earning an ASE Master certification with A1-A9 certifications. With a focus on diagnostics, electrical, and diesel, our tech has also worked for independent shops ranging from imports to diesel performance. Tyler Scott is a highly skilled automotive repair technician with over 12 years of experience in the industry. Originally from Idaho, Tyler recently relocated to Ontario but remains deeply committed to his work at Mike’s Auto Clinic—so much so that he drives 50 minutes each way to continue doing what he loves.

With a strong background in diagnostics and diesel repair, Tyler is known as an expert in his field, tackling even the toughest automotive challenges with precision and efficiency. His passion for problem-solving and deep mechanical knowledge make him a go-to technician for both customers and colleagues alike.

When he’s not under the hood of a vehicle, Tyler enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, camping, or riding ATVs, he thrives in nature and embraces every adventure Idaho has to offer.
